The singers Haimanti Shukla, Manoj Murali Nair, Manisha Murali Nair, Jayati Chakraborty, Saikat Mitra, Jojo, Debarati Som and Subhankar Bhaskar, who belong to different generations and genres recorded the song at Sovabazar Rajbari, one of the oldest royal mansions in the city on Friday.
"Singing the lyrics by Rabindranath Tagore is a tribute to the country. It sent shivers down my spine," Shukla said.
Over 500 upcoming artists also lent their voices to the music video.
