Leading models set ramp ablaze in global brand fashion show

Leading models, flaunting global brands, set the ramp on fireas the city fashion glitterati gawked at the East India Retail Awards.
"Very stylish, very elegant, chic and hep. The cut and blends were truly western with Indian sensibility," fashion designer Abhisek Dutta told PTI on the sidelines of the event.
Dutta, who will be hosting his own show very soon, was impressed with the riot of colors and the gait and poise of those who straddled the ramp at a leading city hotel here.

rj-turned-funnyman-turned anchor-turned actor Mir and actor-socialite Pamela Bhutoria, having got critical acclaims for her role in Maach Misti and More.

With white, majenta, pink and printed florals, in various cuts from lehenga to choli and tunic being the order of the evening, global brands from Turtle to Moustache, Roughhells, Hyphen showcased their stuff as city cognoscenti, from actor Arjun Chakraborty to Tollywood stylers looked on.
"Kolkata has its unique fashion quotient which came to the fore again today. We rock," leading model Jasmine Jas said on the sidelines.
