Leaders of Delhi units of seven Left parties- CPI (M), CPI, CPI (M-L)-Liberation, AIFB, SUCI (Communist) RSP and SP-I decided yesterday in the meeting to contest the coming Delhi assembly elections jointly, said a release.
The Left parties have come together to put forth the alternative policy framework and understanding on these basic issues.
It said the major political parties of Delhi - BJP, Congress and AAP- have "completely failed" to provide any viable solution or policy framework to address the basic issues faced by the people of Delhi in their daily lives.
Leaders of the Left parties who participated in the meeting include P M S Grewal and K M Tiwari (CPI-M), Dhirendra Sharma and Dinesh Varshney (CPI), Sanjay Sharma and Surinder Panchal (CPI (M-L)-Liberation), Dharmendra Verma (AIFB), Pratap Samal and Prem Sharma (SUCI-C), Manvendra Nath Singh (RSP) and Prem Singh (SP-I).
