In a tit for tat move against TMC women's wing's rally against CBI probe into the Saradha scam, women's organisations affiliated to Left parties today took out a well-attended rally in support of the probe.
CPI(M) leader Minati Ghosh said that four Left wing women's organisations organised the rally in the Salt Lake area of the city.
Ghosh told reporters, "We want that those who have lost their money should get back the amount. We want an answer to the question what the state government-formed SIT was doing for the last one and a half years. Were they sleeping?"
The TMC women's wing, led by West Bengal law minister Chandrima Bhattacharya, staged a sit-in demonstration in front of the CBI office at Salt Lake for the second day today.
