Panic gripped a private school here after a leopard entered its premises, the police said today.
Though the school for hearing impaired was closed due to cold, some teachers along with 60 residential students were present there.
A team of forest officials rushed to the spot to trace the leopard, but did not succeed.
"We are tying to trace the leopard. It is in the basement of the college building. We will tranquilise it," Deputy Director Zoo Utkarsh Shukla told reporters.
