Actor Liam Hemsworth has filed for divorce from singer Miley Cyrus just seven months after getting married.
As per the documents obtained by People magazine, the 29-year-old Australian actor filed for divorce from the pop star, 26, in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
According to The Blast, Hemsworth has cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce. He has hired famed Hollywood divorce attorney Laura Wasser.
Cyrus' representative had announced on August 10 that the couple has separated.
The duo met when they were teenagers on the set of "The Last Song" in 2009. They dated on and off for nearly 10 years before they tied the knot on December 23, 2018, at Cyrus' family's home in Franklin, Tennessee.
