Directed by Ruben Fleischer, of "Zombieland" fame, the film is written by Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant of "Night At The Museum", reported Deadline.
Universal Pictures Pictures has acquired the pitch fro the film whose storyline is being kept under wraps.
The 63-year-old "Taken" star will be next seen in historic-drama "Silence" and the drama fantasy "A Monster Calls".
Lennon and Garant have also scripted "Hellbaby", "Herby Fully Loaded" and "The Pacifier". Fleischer most recently helmed "Gangster Squad".
