According to a MeT official, Palam, Safdarjung, Lodhi Road and Ridge observatories reported rainfall of 12.8 mm, 3 mm, 5.2 mm and 1.2 mm respectively whereas Ayanagar recorded traces of rainfall.
The maximum temperature rose during the day to settle at 33.5 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average while the minimum was recorded at 19 degrees, five notches above normal, the MeT official said.
Humidity in air oscillated between 39 and 90 per cent.
The Met office has predicted rain and thundersquall along with the possibility of hail for tomorrow.
"Mist or haze may occur in the morning. The maximum and minimum tomorrow are expected to hover at 26 and 16 degrees, respectively," he said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was 29.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum settled at 15.6 degrees.
