The weatherman recorded about one cm rainfall in Kasganj of Etah district and weather was mainly dry over eastern UP.
Day temperature however appreciably rose in Bareilly, Allahabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Moradabad, Agra divisions and changed in the remaining divisions of the state.
Temperature was appreciably above normal in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Faizabad, Allahabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad, Agra, Meerut divisions and were normal in Jhansi division.
Highest maximum temperature over the state was 46.4 degree Celsius, recorded at Allahabad.
The MeT department has forecast rain or thundershowers at isolated places over eastern UP but weather would be mainly dry over east UP.
