Rain gauges recorded 0.6 mm rain between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm and 2.2 mm rain in the 24 hours till 8.30 am today.
Despite the showers, there were no reports of any major traffic jam anywhere in the city, an official of the Delhi Police's traffic control room said.
The day temperature settled a notch below normal at 33.2 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year.
The MeT department has predicted similar weather conditions tomorrow with generally cloudy sky and possibility of rains and thundershowers in various parts of the city. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to remain at 32 and 25 degrees, respectively, he said.
Yesterday, the day temperature had settled at 34.3 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 26.3 degrees Celsius.
