Light to heavy rains lash Rajasthan

Light to heavy showers continued to lash parts of Rajasthan for the second day today.
Isolated places in Jodhpur, Jaipur and Udaipur divisions received heavy rains while light to moderate rains occurred in Udaipur, Bharatpur, Jaipur, Kota, Ajmer, Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions, Met department said here.
Maximum rain measuring 11 cms was recorded in Sumerpur and Erinpura in Pali followed by Kathurmar in Alwar which received nine cms of rain.
Dabok also recorded 56 mm of rainfall while Jaipur and Bikaner received traces, the Met department said.
Heavy rains are expected at isolated places in the state tomorrow, according to the Met department.
