Light to moderate rain in east UP

Southwest monsoon remained normal over east Uttar Pradesh today resulting in light to moderate rain and thundreshowers at few places in the east and at isolated places over western region of the state.
Met office here said that heavy rain occurred at isolated places over the state.
Chief amount of rainfall recorded in cms - Gonda, Sardanagar-11 each, Rae Bareli-10, Agra-9, Sitapur-8, Banda, Haidergarh, Fursatganj-7 each, Sirohigausspur, Sahabad ,Palia Kalan, Lucknow and Malihabad-5 each.
They forecast that rain and thundershowers are very likely at few places in the east and at isolated places in the western region in the next 24 hours.
