Ghoshi received one centimetre of rainfall. The temperature also fell in Faizabad, Lucknow, Bareilly, Jhansi, Varanasi and Moradabad. Little drop in temperature was recorded in remaining divisions of the state.
Highest temperature in the state was recorded in Jhansi at 45.5 degrees Celsius.
According to the Met department, heat wave conditions continued at isolated places over western UP.
