Linseeds oil firmed up modestly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on rising demand from paint and allied industries.
Elsewhere, refined palmolein also marginally rose, owing to good demand from retail buyers.
While, castor seeds bold and castor oil commercial dropped due to reduced demand from soaps and shippers industries.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil ruled steady in absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the non-edible segment, linseeds oil rose ruled at Rs 875 per 10kg.
However, castorseeds bold went-down by Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 4,200 as against Rs 4,225 and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 870 from Rs 875 yesterday.
Moving to the edible section, refined palmolein inched up per 10kg to Rs 718 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 840 per 10kg.
