Acting on a tip off, a police team raided the house of Chandan Mahto and seized 30 cartons of foreign liquor comprising 560 bottles of 180 ml each, besides 57 kg ganja and 370 gm charas, Deputy Superintendent of Police Indra Prakash said.
However, Mahto escaped ahead of the raid.
In addition, a pistol magazine, two mobile phones, Rs 2.98 lakh in cash, besides two Khukhris were seized from the house, he said.
Mahto, wanted in 15 cases of dacoity, escaped from the house ahead of the police raid, Prakash said, adding that raids were being carried out to nab him.
