A case has been lodged against MPTDC based on a complaint lodged by a security agency with regard to awarding contract for deputing security personnel at tourist spots across Madhya Pradesh, they said.
MPTDC had invited tenders from security agencies and three companies had participated in the bidding. Ratan Emporium, a company based in Dhar district, had bagged the contract in July, Superintendent of Lokayukta Police (Bhopal) Birendra Singh, told PTI.
Following the process, an Indore-based agency Balaji Security Company, which had also participated in bidding, filed a complaint against the corporation yesterday alleging that its officials tweaked terms and condition of tenders to benefit Ratan Emporium and keep other bidders out of the fray, he said.
The officer, however, clarified that the case has not been registered against a particular official of MPTDC.
