Lokayukta police to probe complaint against MLA

The Lokayukta court judge Shivashankara Amarannavar directed Lokayukta police to conduct investigation into the alleged illegal transaction done by MLA Veeranna Charantimath favouring his brother Mallikarjun Charantimath by transferring government land during 2007-09.

The court also ordered Lokayukta police to submit its probe report into the complaint filed by the 'Bagalkot Punarautthana Yuva Vedike' by July 2.

The others accused in the case are Bagalkot Town Development Authority Chairman Lingaraj Wali, Murol, an engineer and Doddabasavaraj, a rehabilitation officer. PTI COR BH MSR BN
