Sofia, a British singer-actress, had lodged a complaint against Armaan with the Mumbai police last week for various offences under Sections 54A(1)(III), 324, 509, 294 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.
Armaan's father and a friend stood as two solvent sureties required by the police and the necessary formalities are being completed, the police said.
After investigation, the Lonavala police picked up Armaan Kohli from the sets of the Big Boss reality TV show in Lonavala on Monday night and kept him there until Tuesday afternoon, until bail procedures were completed.
