Actor Ranveer Singh is keen to work with Rohit Shetty and hopes to be seen in a "dhamaka" film with the director.
It is widely speculated that the actor will team up for an action-packed entertainer with Shetty.
"I would love to collaborate with him (Rohit). He has a wonderful team which works really well together and I am really looking forward to collaborate with him," Ranveer told reporters here at an event.
He said nothing is finalised yet.
"But given the opportunity and if everything falls in place, hopefully I will be in a Rohit Shetty dhamaka very soon," he said.
Shetty, known for tickling the funny bone of the audiences with his "Golmaal" series, is popular for designing mind-boggling action sequences especially with cars.
"Rohit Shetty is an awesome director. I really think he is the king of mainstream commercial masala films.
"I love that he (Rohit Shetty) is really a simple and a very sincere man. We have met couple of times and really get along well," the "Bajirao Mastani" actor added.
