"The state is poised for a change for better and the coming Lok Sabha polls will be a trend setter for positive turn of events," PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed said.
He was addressing political workers, led by Sonaullah Dar Rathsuna, who joined the party here.
Sayeed said the PDP would go into the assembly elections next year with a positive agenda that would usher in a new era of political stability, development and an assured space of dignity for future generations of the state.
"The days of emotive slogans are over and we have to work systematically for addressing the problems of the state on political, psychological and development fronts," the PDP patriarch said.
"Any isolated effort at development will not succeed unless the political aspect is also addressed and concrete steps taken for resolution of the Kashmir problem," he said.
