Lucknow-bound flight diverted to Delhi due to strong winds

A Lucknow-bound plane was forced to return to Delhi due to strong winds, an airport official said today.

"Flight number 6E943 from Delhi to Lucknow (Indigo Airlines) was diverted back to Delhi due to strong winds at 02.50 PM," Airport Director A K Sharma said.

"Apart from this, flight number 9W857 ATR from Delhi to Lucknow (Jet Airways) was held overhead for nearly 25 minutes over Lucknow airport due to strong winds. It landed at 02.55 PM," he said.
