Lucknow-Dubai AI Express flight makes emergency landing

A Dubai-bound Air India Express flight with 189 passengers onboard today made an emergency landing at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport after it was diverted here due to technical issue.
A spokesperson of the airline said all the passengers were safe and another aircraft was arranged to fly them to their destination.
An airport official said full emergency was declared for the Air India Express flight IX 193 from Lucknow to Dubai, diverted here due to the "nose wheel decap".
The Boeing 737-800 aircraft safely landed at 6:11 pm at the main runway of the city airport.
