M&M appoints Anish Shah as President, Spl Projects

Auto-maker major Mahindra & Mahindra today said it has appointed Anish Shah as President - Group Special Projects with effect from August 1, 2014.
Prior to joining Mahindra & Mahindra, Shah was the President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital India, where he led the transformation of the business including a turnaround of the SBI Card joint venture.
"At a time when our multi-business group is growing exponentially in scale, complexity and geographical reach, we welcome the extensive and diverse global experience that Anish brings to us.
"We look forward to his being a part of our top management team in our journey to unlock the vast opportunities that lie ahead of us," Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra said in a statement.
