The stock moved up by 3.54 per cent to close at Rs 1,369.35 on BSE. During the day, it jumped 4.80 per cent to Rs 1,386.
On NSE, it went up by 3.23 per cent to close at Rs 1,369.30.
The stock was the biggest gainer among the Sensex and Nifty components.
Home-grown auto major Mahindra and Mahindra today reported 60.88 per cent jump in total tractor sales at 45,177 units in October this year.
The company had sold 28,081 units in the same month last year.
Mahindra and Mahindra reported a 1.21 per cent increase in total sales at 52,008 units in October.
