M N Sarma is United India Insurance CMD

United India Insurance Company today said M N Sarma was appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director with immediate effect.
Sarma was serving Health Insurance TPA of India as its Managing Director and CEO, a press release said.
Health Insurance TPA is a joint venture of public sector non-life companies in India.
Sarma who began his career in 1982 at New India Assurance had served in various responsibilities including heading the company's Hyderabad office and also divisional offices.
He had also served Oriental Insurance Company and handled investments, IT, health, marine cargo among others, the release said.
