The Motor Accidents Claim Tribunal presided by Dinesh Bhatt held the drivers and the owners of the negligently driver gramin sewa and the car liable to pay compensation.
The court directed the insurance companies of both the offending vehicles to pay 50 per cent of the Rs 11.39 lakh to the injured in one month.
Chaudhary was taken to a trauma centre and relieved after ten days. He was then admitted to another hospital for treatment of head injury, spinal injury, fracture and bone dislocation and also suffered from temporary disability.
The driver and owner of the Gramin Sewa denied negligence and blamed the mishap on the owner of the car and the driver. They in turn blamed the former for the mishap.
