According to information received here today, Madhurika (world ranked No.190) sidelined France's Marie Migot (ranked No.183) in six games, coasting to a 11-8, 8-11, 5-11, 11-6, 11-9, 11-7 victory.
In the previous round, Madhurika had defeated Slovenia's Katarina Strazar in four straight games.
Madhurika thus secured the top spot in group 24 and moved to the main draw.
In the round of 64, she will compete against Mirela Durak of Croatia, who is ranked No.254.
Krittwika pulled through winning at 11-3, 15-17, 11-9, 11-6, 9-11 and 11-6.
Krittwika also moved to the knockout round of 64, where she will play against Thailand's Tamolwan Khetkhuan, ranked No 122.
