The 'Girl Gone Wild' hitmaker, 55, who recently returned to New York City from a charity trip to Haiti with her ex-husband, Sean Penn, reportedly ended her three-year relationship with the backup dancer after he signed up for the French version of 'Dancing With The Stars', reported Hollywood Life.
"M thought that was too cheesy," a source said.
Another insider explained that the relationship ran its course due to long distance and work obligations.
The former couple have only been spotted together a few times in recent months amid rumours Madonna could be set to reunite with Penn, whom she divorced in 1989 after four tumultuous years together.
