"This policy will help develop the dilapidated buildings in Thane Municipal region," Fadnavis said.
"It is the greatest initiative to redevelop Thane in a planned way and lakhs of Thanekars can accomplish dream of sustainable and affordable housing," the CM tweeted.
The environmental impact assessment also has been done before sanctioning this cluster development scheme for Thane, he added.
According to Fadnavis, this entire proposal will also be brought to the knowledge of the High Court before its implementation.
