Maha: Three persons killed in separate incidents in Nagpur

Three persons were killed in separate incidents in Lakadganj, Kalamna and Tehsil police station limits in Nagpur city on Sunday, officials said.

In the first incident, Shubham Wasnik (22) was stabbed to death by his minor friend as the deceased had not offered the accused food when the latter visited him at home, said a Lakadganj police station official, adding that the minor had been sent to a correction home.

In another incident, Chandan Sharma (22) was stabbed by an unidentified person in his house in the jurisdiction of Kalamna police station in the early hours of Sunday, a local official said.

Ankit Dhakate (21), a resident of Pachpaoli area here, was killed by five persons over an old rivalry on Sunday night, an official said.

Tehsil police have registered a case and efforts were on to nab the five accused, he said.
