Maharashtra CM visits landslide site

Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan visited the site of landslide at Malin village in Ambegaon tehsil of Pune district this evening and reviewed the rescue operation undertaken by NDRF and other agencies.
Chavan, accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, inquired about the treatment being given to the injured pulled out from under the debris.
He also appealed to people to not crowd around the site and allow the rescuers to do their work without hindrance.
At least 17 people were killed when torrential rains triggered the landslide.
