Punjab Minister Bikram Singh Majithia today challenged Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to fight the upcoming Assembly elections from his home turf of Majitha constituency.
"Instead of making someone a scapegoat, let Kejriwal fight from the constituency (Majitha)," the Minister told mediapersons after inaugurating a rural skill centre at Athwal village here.
Majithia said that that the AAP chief "day dreaming of gaining power in Punjab with fake promises as he made in Delhi".
"Kejriwal is now exposed on various fronts for his lies and promising moon to the people. Kejriwal has made life of Delhi people miserable as his performance as Delhi chief minister is a big disaster," he claimed.
"Kejriwal's anti-Punjab stance has been exposed on the SYL and other significant interstate issues where he took stand against Punjab and back stabbed the people of Punjab," he added.
The Punjab minister alleged that AAP was formed on the basis of ethics and principles but the party "has adopted all unethical means in ticket allotment (for Punjab polls) even ignoring their own volunteers".
Notably, AAP has stepped up its attack on Majithia ahead of the Punjab Assembly polls next year.
