Makkal Auto to offer free rides to 70 plus voters on poll day

With a view to ensuring 100 per cent polling in the May 16 elections, Coimbatore-based 'Makkal Auto' has come forward to lend a helping hand to aged voters by offering free of cost service.
Accordingly, people in the age group of 70 plus residing in the corporation limits can go to the polling stations, cast their vote and return home using a Makkal Auto, free of cost.
The facility is also available to physically challenged and visually impaired, irrespective of their age, a release from the company, Makkal Auto, said.
Those who wish to avail the facility can contact customer care number 0422-4000800, for which booking has already opened, the release added.
