"If there is an unbiased investigation into Saradha scam, Mamata Banerjee will support it," Abhishek said.
Neither the Chief Minister nor the TMC would come in the way of an impartial probe into the scam, he said.
"Conduct an impartial investigation in the Saradha scam and if you can prove someone guilty then I am taking the responsibility and saying neither Mamata Banerjee nor Trinamool Congress will support that person," he said.
His statement comes a day after BJP chief Amit Shah's remark that Banerjee's associates and "stooges" were involved in the Saradha Ponzi scam which had hit over 17 lakh investors and asked her to quit office if she couldn't act against the wrongdoers.
Asserting that BJP was not afraid of anyone, Shah had said those involved in the scam would be arrested and put behind bars.
