The accused, Pardeep Saini, was arrested from the Bajghera-Gurgaon road based on a tip-off received by the Inter State Cell. "A trap was laid near Chhawla canal and Saini was apprehended," a senior police officer said.
Police said Saini, hailing from Haryana, had murdered his sister on May 12 over a property dispute. Madhu Saini, the victim, used to stay at Najafgarh at their mother's house.
"He had dispute with his sister over the said property over which he, along with his associates, murdered her following which an FIR was registered against him," the officer added.
"In the year 2010, Saini murdered his associate Arvind Dhancha over some dispute of money and has a case under the Arms Act registered against him at the Najafgarh police station," police said.
