The accused, Rohit, along with a juvenile, attacked Raju for taunting him over his sister's love marriage with the victim's brother, said Bhisham Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime).
Rohit along with the juvenile reached Raju's house and attacked him with knives and slit his throat. The victim is currently admitted in a hospital and his condition is said to be critical.
On May 26, Rohit was arrested from near a metro pillar in Om Vihar, Uttam Nagar. Police received a tip-off that Rohit would be coming to meet his aide there. A trap was laid and the accused who worked as a car mechanic, was arrested.
