The accused (name not disclosed) lured the girl to his house by offering her a ball last evening and raped her, officials attached to the N M Joshi Marg police station said.
The accused was girl's neighbour.
After the girl told her mother about the incident, a police complaint was filed.
Police arrested the accused today for rape under the IPC as well as for offences under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
A court remanded him in police custody till July 13.
