Pradeep Bura, who worked as an IT executive for a company to which the police had outsourced some works, had allegedly obtained call detail records of many Bollywood actresses and other secret information.
Sudhir Kumar, Inspector and Crime incharge of crime unit-6, saidpolice found several mails he had sent to computer operator in the cyber cell asking for confidential data.
The police also recovered a forged identity card of a sub inspector (IT) and hard disk from his possession, he said.
The investigation in the matter has been handed over to Sajjan Kumar, incharge of Crime unit-2, and a case was registered against Bura in Civil lines police station in Sector-17 under relevant sections of IPC and the IT Act 2000.
