Man arrested on charges of stealing laptop from passenger

A man, who allegedly stole a laptop and bag of a passenger from Thiruvananthapuram railway station recently, was today arrested.
The Railway Police found the man moving about suspiciously at the Kozhikode railway station and when questioned he tried to escape. He was caught after a hot chase, police said.
The bag contained the certificates and telephone numbers, through which the owner of the bag and laptop was identified, police said.
