Businessman Manoj Singhal had lodged an FIR alleging that an unknown caller was threatening him and demanding Rs 3 lakh extortion money.
Last night, the caller Om Dutt Sharma was arrested after police traced his call with the help of electronic surveillance, they said.
Sharma, a school principal, came out to be a one time classmate of Manoj, they said.
