The neighbours seeing the smoke and hearing her cries for help, broke open the door and saved her. She was rushed to the hospital where she named her husband in her dying declaration before dying on March 1.
The couple, who were married fro 10 years and had two children, would often fight as the man drank heavily and often assaulted her demanding money from her parents.
Her father filed a complaint with the police against sukumar, his mother, father and sister the next day accusing them of burning to death his daughter.
Sukumar was arrested on March 5 and his father in May last year.
