Man beaten to death by father, brother

A man was allegedly beaten to death by his father and brother at Badapokhari village in Balasore district of Odisha, police said.
The incident took place late last night and villagers rescued the deceased, Jangal Sing, after hearing a noise and rushed him to hospital, police said.
Jangal Sing was first taken to a hospital at Oupada and later shifted to Soro hospital when his condition deteriorated, but he succumbed to injuries during treatment, police said.
Ram Singh and Bacha Sing, father and brother, respectively, of the deceased have been detained in this connection, they said adding, the incident was suspected to have taken place over a property dispute.
