Man beaten to death by uncle and others

A man was today beaten to death by his uncle and his accomplices in a village under Azam Nagar police station area in Bihar's Katihar district, police sources said.
Following a heated exchange between them over a generator wire, Md. Jalal (30) was badly beaten up by his uncle and his associates in the Nimta village, sources said.
Jalal, who sustained multiple fractures, died during treatment in a hospital, they said.
An FIR has been lodged against 30 people, including the spouses of the women mukhiya and sarpanch of the village in this connection, the sources said, adding a probe was on in the matter.
