Man booked along with six kin for 'murdering' wife

A man along with six of his family members was booked today for allegedly murdering his wife in Garima Garden colony here, police said.
"Ayesha was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her house on Monday. Wasim and his family members disentangled the body and rushed her in an unconscious state to GTB Hospital in East Delhi where she died during treatment," SHO Sahibabad Upendra Yadav said.
Ayesha's father Julfikar, a resident of Pasonda village, in his complaint alleged that Wasim and his family members used to torture his daughter for bringing insufficient dowry and intentionally hanged her from the ceiling fan on May 4.

An FIR has been registered in this connection and investigation is underway, police said.
The accused will be nabbed soon, the SHO said.
