The accused Shashi Thakur and Mukul Thakur were arrested on Saturday by the staff of Connaught Place police station after the girl, a fashion designer, had registered a complaint against the duo in April this year.
The victim, daughter of Shashi Thakur's sister-in-law has alleged that she was constantly being raped since she was nine years old.
"The girl has been living at Shashi Thakur's house after her mother and father had separated. In 1994, when she was just nine-year-old, Shashi raped her. Being scared, she did not reveal anything about the incident to anyone. Later, Shashi's brother Mukul also raped her," police official said.
The victim decided to approach the police in April and filed an FIR at Connaught Place police station. A team was sent to Muzzafarpur from where the two were apprehended. They have been sent into fourteen days judicial custody.
