Man commits suicide in Delhi hotel

A 34-year-old man, native of Punjab, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan of his hotel room in Central Delhi here today.
The deceased has been identified as Sukhdev (34). The body has been sent to the mortuary and his family informed, police said.
"He had reached the hotel yesterday evening and taken a room. However, when he did not respond to bells rung by hotel staff today, the door was forcefully opened and he was found hanging from the ceiling fan," said a police official.
No suicide note was recovered, police said.
