Man commits suicide, jumps into canal in UP

A 45-year-old man committed suicide by jumping into Ganga canal near Morna here, police said today.
Sushil Kumar ended his life yesterday by jumping into the canal, they said.
He was rushed to a local hospital where he was declared dead, they said, adding the cause of suicide is believed to be family dispute.
In another incident, an 18-year-old boy yesterday drowned in Yamuna river in Shamli district, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Ravi Kumar, who along with some of his friends had gone for a swim in the river, they said.
The body of the victim is yet to be traced, police said.
