Man designs One Direction-inspired lamp

A fan of popular British boy band One Direction has designed a lamp dedicated to the music group.
Jerry Riekert, 50, got a lot of attention on Twitter following the American Music Awards when he tweeted about how the One Direction members 'can actually sing'.
He recently tweeted that he would dedicate a lamp to the four-member music group if one of them noticed his products on the microblogging site, reported People magazine.
The three boys of the band did notice Riekert's lamps as in an interview with Australia's Shazam Top 20 radio, they were told about Riekert and his promise to make the lamp.

"This is the moment we've been waiting for. When someone tells you they'll make you a lamp," said Louis Tomlinson.
"That is huge to think about. That guy said he didn't like us to start with, and now he wants us to recognise his lamps. That is huge," Liam Payne added.
Riekert completed the lamp on December 3 and tweeted its pictures to the 'Stay With Me' hitmakers.
