The unnamed man was yelling for Swift to come out of her home," which frightened other residents in her locality, leading them to call the police, reported Entertainment Tonight.
He was taken away for medical observation and later released without charge.
It is not known if 26-year-old Swift was at home during the incident.
Meanwhile, the "Bad Blood" hitmaker had been forced to secure restraining orders against a number of stalkers in the past.
He also allegedly threatened to "kill any man," including US Secretary of State John Kerry, who came between him and Swift, as he believed he and the singer were married.
And Christian Ewing was arrested and charged after being taken down by four of the "Blank Space" singer's bodyguards when he snuck into her concert at Petco Park in San Diego, California last year and jumped up on stage alongside the star.
District Attorney Jessica Coto said in court that when asked why he went on stage, he said, "I love that girl.
