A man, who was abducted and tortured by unidentified gunmen two weeks ago in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, died at a hospital here today, police said.
Omais Bhat (20) succumbed to injuries at the SKIMS hospital here this morning after battling for life for two weeks, an official said.
Bhat was kidnapped from the Qaimoh area of Kulgam district on March 8 and was found lying unconscious a few hours, he added.
He said the kidnappers, after torturing the victim, had apparently left him for dead.
